An Elevated Sense of Place

A quiet apartment, set above a loud and beautiful city.

You enter from a hushed elevator and step into rooms made for long stays — kitchen with a breakfast table, sitting room open to the patio, bedrooms arranged for groups who want to share a roof without sharing a wall. Doors open onto a terrace where the breeze carries the sound of San Juan up the hill.

Coffee on the terrace in the morning, ceviche on Loíza Street at dusk, the lights of Condado on the horizon at night. You notice the rhythm of it by your second day.

The Local Guide

Off the hill, around the island.

A curated list of where we'd point you — adventures, beaches, dinners, and a brunch or two. Not comprehensive, but enough to start a week.

Restaurants & Eateries

Walk down the hill, drive across the island, take the ferry.

Breakfast & Brunch

Within walking distance, and a short ride down the hill.

Casita Blanca is the best restaurant within walking distance, but it doesn't open until 11:30. For breakfast, La Catalana is also walkable — a 4.7-star bakery with excellent breads and sweet rolls. Takeout-only counter on the sidewalk, and no coffee.

For a sit-down brunch with beach energy, the one-mile drive down the hill to Ocean Park is the move: Lela's or Donostia, both two blocks from the sand.

For something more upscale, try Vera Té in Hato Rey or Paulina Escanés in Condado.
